From the very first moment, starting out with the Iron Clad, I was completely captivated by the simplicity in design and the depth of the game. I now understand the hype, because as of right now I can safely say it is one of the best, most addictive games I've ever come across playing.

Slay the Spire, frankly, is simply a masterpiece. I was hesitant, with maybe even a tinge of regret after the purchase, but boy did any of those doubts instantly wash away as soon as I started the ascending journey. It's why despite reading and hearing universal praises for the game over the years, I never gotten around to even consider trying it. Card games were never really my thing growing up, nor have I ever played any form of deck builders in the past besides Pokemon cards when I was little.
